Tsunami Entertainment

Tsunami Entertainment is a multi-faceted music and media company structured for the new digital era. It was formed in March 1999 by former EMI executive Bruce Kirkland. Its orbit encompasses marketing and media consultation, artist and producer management, product and brand management, and strategic marketing and business development, all in the entertainment space. The company's philosophy is founded on the modern artist as a creative hyphenate. Tsunami's mission is to provide comprehensive services to enable artists to achieve the broadest possible marketing and media reach, mining the full spectrum of an artist's creative reservoir. This manifests itself in a menu of various media strategies, digital and direct marketing initiatives, corporate promotional partnerships and non-conventional methods of expanding audience reach. Our services are designed to supplement the activities of a record label's traditional marketing activities.

Tsunami's consulting clients have included some of the most powerful brands in both corporate America and the artist community. Its corporate clients have included QVC, NBC Enterprises, House of Blues, TV Guide, Ericsson, Sony Music, Fox, Playboy and Universal Music. Tsunami offers turnkey marketing solutions to corporations through a unique blend of music and media expertise. We have also provided marketing services to high profile artist brands, including Bon Jovi, Sarah Brightman, Peter Gabriel, The Beatles, Bee Gees and Erykah Badu. Company highlights include a comprehensive long term music strategy for TV Guide, a business plan for music personalization software for Internet and wireless applications, over-arching digital media strategies for the House of Blues, world-wide marketing for The Bee Gees Greatest Hits, organizing talent for the 2002 Winter Olympics Medals Plaza, and overseeing two separate network commercial campaigns for Bon Jovi.

Tsunami's worldwide management clients include The Dandy Warhols, Ozomatli and Gus Gus. We also manage DJ's, producers and programmers.

Tsunami possesses a unique blend of management skills, reflecting a new business paradigm in music. Bruce Kirkland has experience in many capacities in the music business, including artist management, live event promotions, marketing, independent and major labels. He and his team have been responsible for a number of significant milestones in entertainment in the past 15 years, including The Beatles Anthology, the launch of E! Entertainment, multi-platinum artists Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Beastie Boys, the pioneering internet serial, The Spot, and the Frank Sinatra Duets project. The Tsunami team pride themselves on being at the forefront of new trends in popular culture, combining expertise from broadcast and digital media, the Internet and music.

Tsunami's mission is to develop innovative, multi-media solutions for complex marketing and strategic issues, with a focus on music and entertainment.
